Questions about pricing
How does per-seat pricing work?
Every paid plan is billed per seat: Pro is €9/seat/mo billed annually (~€11 monthly), Team is €15/seat/mo billed annually (€18 monthly), and Enterprise is €25/seat/mo. Pro starts at a minimum of 1 seat, Team at 3 seats, and Enterprise at 20 seats — so Enterprise starts from €500/mo. Only humans count as seats; agents, API keys and service accounts never consume a seat.
What is an AI credit, and what uses one?
One credit is roughly one server-side AI action of up to about 8,000 tokens. Only server-side LLM inference is metered — the Assistant, Product Studio, doc and journey generation, security analysis and threat models. Plugin commands, MCP tool calls, the REST API and the Zensu CLI are never metered and never consume credits. Standard actions cost 1 credit, doc/journey generation costs 5, and a security analysis or threat model costs 25.
How many AI credits do I get, and what happens when they run out?
Free includes 50 credits per month org-wide as a hard stop — when they are used up, server-side AI pauses until the next month; there are no packs on Free. Pro includes 200 credits per seat, Team 300 per seat, and Enterprise 800 per seat, pooled across the org. On paid plans you can top up with prepaid credit packs at €10 for 500 credits; there are no metered postpaid invoices.
Can I bring my own AI key (BYOK)?
Yes, from the Team plan upwards. Add your own OpenRouter or Anthropic API key and server-side AI runs on your key, unmetered — Zensu stops counting credits for those actions.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing is the headline price and saves you roughly two months versus monthly — Pro is €9/seat/mo annually versus €11 monthly, and Team is €15/seat/mo annually versus €18 monthly. You can pick either billing period per plan; Enterprise and Self-Hosted are agreed with sales.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices are shown net and are quoted in euros — this offer is directed at businesses. Applicable VAT is added at checkout; EU businesses with a valid VAT-ID are handled via reverse-charge. Billing is EUR-only.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Every tier, including Free, gets full data export through the REST API and the Apache-2.0 licensed Zensu CLI. Your data is yours to take with you at any time.
Do you offer self-hosted pricing?
Yes. Self-Hosted starts at €15,000/year for up to 25 seats, with additional seats priced in bands above that. It can run air-gapped with an EU-hosted option. Talk to us via the Enterprise page.
